If you find yourself wandering through the picturesque town of Buckfastleigh, Tikka's is a charming café that should undoubtedly be on your itinerary. Nestled at 44 Fore St, this delightful café is not just a stop for refreshments, but rather a whole experience waiting to be discovered.

Tikka's is renowned for its inviting atmosphere, where every corner offers a sense of quaintness and relaxation. The café boasts an enchanting rear garden, a hidden jewel that provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Picture yourself sipping on freshly brewed coffee while basking in the tranquility of nature, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers.

But perhaps what really sets Tikka's apart is its menu, which has garnered rave reviews from visitors. The homemade scones are the star of the show, praised by many for their phenomenal taste and generous size. Take it from Victoria K, who traveled all the way from Manchester just to enjoy a stunning cream tea—she was not disappointed! Guests here are treated to an array of delectable offerings, and the all-day breakfast stands out for its freshness and lack of greasiness. As Adam Leach noted, it’s a satisfying meal that leaves you feeling energized rather than weighed down.

Customers consistently rave about the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. Steve Pack appreciated the friendly staff who even went the extra mile to provide his dog with some tasty treats. The accommodating nature of Tikka's staff is a recurring theme in customer reviews. Simon Lester, while he did express a wish for updated opening times, did not shy away from acknowledging the quality of food and service during his visit.

Make sure to take a moment to explore the café's little shop, where you can find a selection of reasonably priced goodies to take home. Sandy shares that this addition only enhances the overall experience at Tikka's, making it a worthwhile stop for both food and shopping.

For those visiting via bicycle or on foot, Tikka's is conveniently located near popular cycling routes leading to Dartmoor, with a safe alley for bike parking. Nicholas Hadfield can attest to this, finding it to be the perfect pit stop for cyclists in need of refreshments.

In summary, Tikka's provides not only delicious food and a serene atmosphere but also personal touches that transform a simple café visit into a memorable outing. Whether you’re indulging in a classic Devon cream tea like Rosie Jade and enjoying the service that comes with it, or just in need of a casual breakfast that hits the spot, Tikka's welcomes you with open arms. Don’t miss this gem when exploring Buckfastleigh!

Stunning cream tea had here. I came from Manchester and this was the first place we found that was serving cream teas. Home made scones were phenomenal! Service was brilliant. The rear gardens are gorgeous hideaway and peaceful. Quaint little place to stop and enjoy. Recommended!

Cant knock the food or service, but please guys update your times of opening, family came for lunch today at 2pm only to be told you had been very busy and were closing,WHAT that's a new one on me. Were locals that like to support our stores and cafes etc but it's getting harder when some cafes dont open on tuesday or wednesday and now your shutting early when its busy WOW

Beautiful garden to sit in with shelter for those wanting it. A good pitstop whilst cycling before going on up to Dartmoor. Side alley safe for bikes (locked gate they opened for me). Good coffee

What an absolute gem of a place. Very nice little cafe with a large garden area with lots of additional seating. The food was excellent, freshly made and it was delicious. I had the all day breakfast and it was lovely, not greasy at all. My wife had a special and she also commented that it was excellent. The scones were freshly baked when we arrived and they were very large so have an appetite if you order one. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our young family. Very glad we popped in. Will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.

We enjoyed a delicious Devon cream tea and Ploughmans in their tranquil back garden. Service was great too. Car park round the corner.

Very good food in tea room. Wonderful garden at the rear of premises and they now have a small but very reasonably price shop within the tearoom. Well worth trying. Service very good both in shop and tearoom.
